Celebrity Homes

Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver

Gov. Arnold and wife Maria Shriver live in this $11.9 million dollar college-like manse in Brentwood.

Oprah Winfrey

Oprah's got 14 bathrooms and 10 fireplaces in this $55 mil Montecito, CA estate.

John Travolta

John Travolta built this $2.5 million dollar Florida house at the end of a private runway in Ocala, Florida, which includes parking for his Boeing 707 and Gulfstream jets. Oh, and a 16-car garage.
Yes, those are real airplanes. When invited to a party at the Travolta residence, please allow two hours for security. Please place all of your belongings on the x-ray conveyor. Remove all laptops and cell phone from their bags. All liquids must be 3 oz or less and in an approved plastic bag. If you want peanuts, a Coke, or a bag of chips, that will be $3. The in-flight movies are Grease, Pulp Fiction, and Hairspray.

Will Smith

The Fresh Prince renovated this Calabasas castle, worth nearly $20 million. It has its own lake. Mr. and Mrs. Smith have their own full-sized basketball and tennis courts too!

It has it's own zip code.

Eddie Murphy

Eddie Murphy had this resort-sized, Mission-style $20 million monster built in 90210 in 2005

J.Lo and Marc

J.Lo and Marc bought this red-roofed palace with seven bedrooms and fourteen bathrooms.. Only 12,217 sq. ft.! Jenny from the entire block!
J.Lo has sold over 48 million albums worldwide. In 2007, she was ranked by Forbes among the 20 wealthiest women in entertainment, with an estimated piggy bank of $110 million.
Do you like the little cabana in the lower left corner of the picture? When Marc is in the dog house, he can still order room service.

Aaron Spelling

Candy Spelling now lives by herself in this incredible hotel-sized mansion, which has 123 rooms, a bowling alley and a single room devoted entirely to gift wrapping. Aaron tore down Bing Crosby's old digs to build this colossal castle.

More rooms than the love boat.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie

Brad Pitt's cliffside crib in Malibu, just $4.5 million ... and plenty of room for the kids.
Ok, seriously now Brad, where are you going to put the swing sets and the slides? You cannot exactly use a slip-n-slide or lawn darts with this view, but it does offer privacy from anyone who does not have access to a helicopter.

Rod Stewart

Rocker Rod Stewart's yellow Palm Beach monster cost $12.5 million and comes with a private pool ... and beach. Do ya think it's sexy?

And yeah, it's already conveniently located at the center of a retirement community. Now that was planning ahead! Golf carts parked in the rear.

Sylvester Stallone

The house that Rocky built... Sylvester Stallone's $10 million pad -- 15,121 sq. ft. of sparring space, and plenty of room for supplements.

Jerry Seinfeld

Seinfeld bought this Hampton's mansion from Billy Joel ... for $32 million. Syndication money buys a lawn like this.
No more crazy apartment neighbors across the hall to borrow your phone, groceries, couch, or recycled girlfriends. What, you thought that stuff was all made up for TV? It was groundbreaking reality TV with a laugh track.

Billy Joel

Billy Joel's $35 million dollar, 7 bedroom modernist Miami mansion sits on a private island

Courteney Cox and David Arquette

The 1959-style Beverly Hills mansion bought by Courteney Cox and David Arquette for $9 million.

It's good to have FRIENDS like these!

Howard Stern

Radio king Howard Stern just sold this monster estate on Long Island for a whopping $15 million.

There was a nasty rumor about "sand crabs"? Come on, let's get Sirius.

Ashley Simpson

Ashlee Simpson plunked down $4.7 million for this Mediterranean canyon crib.
The money spent on the house was only half of the amount spent on plastic surgery. Then again, when you look better than your older sister, who is looking at the house anyway?

Avril Lavigne

Avril Lavigne and her husband are trying to unload this $4 million Italian-style villa in Beverly Hills.
Avril and her husband are now looking for a Beverly Hills style villa in Italy. Poor confused little thing.

Hugh Hefner Playboy Mansion

The famed Playboy Mansion, home of founder Hugh Hefner, purchased for $1.2 million in 1971 ... it's now worth $50 million!
Rumor has it that the grotto Jacuzzi filtration system was designed by NASA, and stress tested by a plethora of athletes, actors, and authors for the last four decades. That's more than a handful of bunnies!

Halle Berry

Halle Berry's hang in Malibu cost $8 million. Nearly every room has a coastline view.

All those windows and that coastline view is very important - for the boys in the NAVY. Hoorah!

Ryan Seacrest

Ryan Seacrest bought this hacienda from Kevin Costner for $11.5 million. 5 bedrooms and 10,000 square feet, plus media room, billiards room, staff quarters, gym, pool, spa.

It's too bad for Ryan that Costner's talent did not come with the house too. It gives new meaning to American Idle.

Larry King

Larry King plunked down $12 million for this Tuscan abode near Sunset Blvd. He's had seven wives, and this has seven bedrooms.
Can you imagine those family reunions? Put away any sharp objects and kitchen utensils. Ouch!

Christie Brinkley

Recently divorced, the former 'Uptown Girl' and Sports Illustrated swimsuit model is selling her home on Long Island for $30,000,000. The listing shows 12 bedrooms, and says you can see the Connecticut shore from a 50-foot observation deck. There's also a guesthouse, artist studio and gym, and a four-car heated garage.
Umm, despite the faux castle tower, this quaint little cottage does not compare to Billy Joel's $35M mansion on a private island. While this has more guest rooms, it certainly has fewer guests.

Denise Richards

This house is involved in the sordid drama of the Charlie Sheen/Denise Richards marriage. It's located in the gated enclave of the North Ranch Country Club Estates.
The home sits on one acre and has seven bedrooms and other details including a theater room, maids living quarters and a family room with a built-in entertainment center. It's in a private part of town and quite a large home but it looks like Richards moved her children's  toys in, added a couple of Pottery Barn couches and called it a day.
The home is listed at $4.3 million.

Britney Spears

Pop icon Britney Spears has listed her L.A. home for $7,900,000. Spears purchased the house last January for $6.75 million. According to People.com, she has been looking at property further north of the city, perhaps looking for a little more privacy for her and her children. At 7,500 square feet, the listings shows six bedrooms and six bathrooms

Kathryn Heigl

Katherine Heigl has put her Los Feliz 'starter home', shown above, on the market for $1.75 million
Where have you seen her recently? 'Knocked Up', 'Grey's Anatomy', and '27 Dresses'. In between roles, she finally made time to look for a bigger place!

Doug Martinez

It's a bit eclectic and not really an estate but I just love the livability of today's home which was written up in the LA Times Hot Property section. Owned by Doug "SA" Martinez of the band 311 this home in the Los Angeles neighborhood of Los Feliz was built in 1927.
The Spanish Colonial home is full of archways and stucco and original wood details. The four-bedroom home has two tiled balconies, one that is off of the master suite. No decorator here, this home is a riot of different colors and styles, a comfortable hodge-podge of unmatched furniture, colorful art and books everywhere stuffed into armoire-like cases. The kitchen is the only room that looks bland. The brilliant blue-tiled bathroom is a bit much but I love it for its vibrancy. The outdoor space is nice too with a saltwater pool and a custom Tennessee oak-covered patio with views of the Griffith Observatory.
It is listed at $2.195 million.

Willem Dafoe

Actor Willem Dafoe is seeking $850,000 for a rubber-clad Modernist house in the Hudson Valley of upstate New York. Mr. Dafoe has been nominated for an Academy Award twice and played the villainous Green Goblin in the "Spider-Man" series. The listing shows two bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms and a yoga / dance studio.
Rubber-clad? As if this house is not scary enough already!

Billy Baldwin

Baldwin brother and star of movies including 'Backdraft' and 'Flatliners,' Billy and his wife, singer Chynna Phillips, have apparently put their Long Island home on the market for $3,895,000. The listing mentions a three-car garage and a four-acre lot.
Do you remember those powerful performances in 'Sliver', 'The Preppie Murder', and 'Three of Hearts'? Well, that's why he is selling this house. Can you help a starving

Jamie Foxx

Actor Jamie Foxx hasn't lived in his Tarzana, California home for a while, moving on to a 40-acre spread in Thousand Oaks. This three-bedroom in Tarzana had been his home since 1997 when he bought the home for $930,000.
The home has been the site of some of Foxx's famous wild parties and the police were once called over a nude basketball game being held on the home's half court. The home has been customized by Foxx with details such as aquariums in the living room, a game room in the basement, a media room and a recording studio. The home has since gone through a major renovation which explains the blandness of the current decor.

The backyard includes a large lawn, pool and pool house, sunken spa and that infamous basketball court. This home is listed at $2.23 million.

Carson Palmer

Laguna Beach is a town full of hills and canyons which lends itself to homes with truly amazing vistas of the sea. The LA Times Hot Property column reports that today's estate belongs to Cincinnati Bengals quarterback and Heisman Trophy winner Carson Palmer. Palmer's home is a four-bedroom Mediterranean perched on a hilltop with beautiful views out over the ocean, the town and an open canyon.

Elton Brand

Former Duke standout and NBA basketball star Elton Brand has placed his three-bedroom, Hollywood Hills home on the market for $4,998,500, two years after he first had listed the house at close to $5 million. He recently signed with the Philadelphia 76ers.

Paul Michael Glaser

Paul Michael Glaser is best known for playing Detective Starsky in the 1970s cop show Starsky and Hutch and has gone on to have a career as a television director.
Glaser has separated from his second wife, Tracy Barone. His first wife Elizabeth, who died from AIDS and contracted HIV through a blood transfusion during childbirth, founded the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation. The home that Glaser and Tracy Barone Glaser shared in the town of Agoura is five bedrooms and includes a gourmet kitchen, walnut wide-plank floors and tasteful and casual decor designed for a family.
The grounds include a dressage arena with lights and corrals, a pool and spa, gazebo, and a study/loft with views over the grounds. This home is listed at $2.424 million.
